PR Manager
- Hybrid
- Athens, Attikí, Greece
- Communications
Job description
About us – we are a challenger bank in Southeast Europe and regional leader in alternative payment solutions, building an ecosystem by combining financing and shopping to address customers’ needs. Our successful business model and customer-focus approach allowed us to be one of the most profitable and efficient banks in the region. We currently serve customers in Romania, Germany, Bulgaria & Lithuania.
We have now expanded our global footprint in Greece with thousands of merchants and consumers. Do you want to play a key role in our unique success story?
We’re looking for a PR Manager to lead our public relations activity in Greece and help shape how a modern challenger bank shows up in the market.
At tbi bank, communications is not a support function. It’s a strategic one. We believe strong storytelling, clear positioning, and smart media work directly support business growth - especially in a regulated, fast-moving industry like banking and fintech.
What you get to do in this role:
You’ll execute all PR activities in Greece, working closely with senior management and regional teams.
This includes:
Developing and delivering PR plans aligned with business priorities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with Greek business, financial, and mainstream media
Writing and editing high-quality content in Greek and English (press releases, interviews, opinion pieces, statements)
Managing media inquiries and supporting executives in interviews and public appearances
Identifying relevant fintech, banking, and economic topics and acting quickly when timing matters
Coordinating PR around product launches, partnerships, financial results, and events
You should be comfortable producing clear, meaningful communication - even under tight deadlines and with multiple stakeholders involved.
Job requirements
What we are looking for:
BA/MA in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Proven experience in public relations, ideally in finance, fintech, tech, or another regulated industry
Demonstrated success running PR campaigns at both local and national level
Established relationships with Greek media (business, financial, and general)
Excellent writing and editing skills
Native Greek and fluent English
Solid understanding of digital and social media channels
Event and media-briefing experience
Bonus points if you can clearly explain what a challenger bank is — and why it matters.
What we offer in return:
A role with real visibility and impact in a growing international bank
High autonomy and trust in how you manage your work
Direct collaboration with senior leaders and regional teams
A multinational working environment (16+ nationalities)
Competitive salary and benefits
A culture that values clarity, initiative, and results
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, we'd love to hear from you!
